I recently posted about wanting to get into getting a bigger bike licence - I currently have A1 and am 29 years old, I just haven’t ridden a bike in about 12-13 years ish.

People suggested DAS so I’ve been looking around and by the sounds of it I’m eligible for it due to having my A1 for more than 2 years and due to my age.

Now I’ve contacted a few driving schools with most saying I don’t need a theory or CBT but this one other driving school is now claiming I need a valid theory which makes me question everything.

You guys have any idea what’s correct?

Edit: or am I better off doing A2 for now and then A later on? I wouldn’t wanna ride a bike with more than 600cc to begin with anyways.

Edit 2: evidently I’m too impatient. Will look at just doing the theory and get it over and done with.
