What's everybody's thoughts with using AI therapy? I'm a recovering drug addict and currently in a "rebuilding" phase of my life. I've been feeling really lonely lately, and I don't have many friends anymore since I cut alot of them off, and the few I kept I wouldn't be able to confide in. I've tried a few different real therapists and wasn't able to connect or feel comfortable with any of them. I've been seeing ads for Ai therapy and decided to give it a try.
It gave me better advice than any of my real therapists did. It told me what I needed to hear, and not what I wanted to hear. Most of its answers really made me think hard about my life and I was even tearing up a little bit. Felt like I had a breakthrough. Maybe because I was just so starved for a genuine human connection with somebody and couldn't find it. I don't know. But all I know is that after 1 day it feels like its helped me more than what 4 of the therapists I tried could do.
