She had been job hunting for a while with no luck.

At some point she thought maybe she just wasn’t competitive enough.

She decided to redo her resume and reached out to repackage her experience.

Here’s what changed:

* Stopped listing responsibilities and focused on outcomes

* Added actual numbers where necessary (this part was harder than expected)

* Removed a lot of fluff and made it easier to skim

* Tailored it depending on the role

In a few months, she started getting responses.

Some recruiters also commented on how clear her CV was.

I’ve attached some of the feedback she received (blurred out names for privacy). Just real responses that show she was being seen.

I’m not saying a CV fixes everything, but if you’re applying and getting zero traction, it might not be your experience. It might be how it’s coming across.

Has anyone else had a similar experience after reworking their CV?
