Back pain relief
I have chronic low back pain that radiates into my left pelvis and hurts most when I’m in the “cow” position of cat cow near L4-L5.
I was in the best shape of my life when it came on. No acute injury when it came on other than some heightened stress at work.
I tried to play squash after I got a lumbar steroid injection when my doctor said I can go back to full activity and my entire butt became bruised to the touch for weeks and I could barely stand up.
6 straight months of being uncomfortable sitting, more comfortable standing. Mornings are agony. Sitting on the toilet in the morning is excruciating.
15 days ago I started TB 500 and BPC 157 in my low back subcutaneously and after about 10 days my back pain is nearly gone. Mornings are mostly pain free. I’m coupling this with low back ability Nordic bench iso holds, full extensions single leg holds, bird dogs, McKenzie press, dead bug, glute bridge.
I feel guarded, like I’m one bad bend away from pain, but am feeling the least pain I have in 6 mo.
Also, today I did my first PRP procedure of three.
I will admit, this shit is expensive and I’m stretching to do these things, but I am hopeful for the first time in a long time that I’m on the right path coupling PT with regenerative orthopedic strategies that may hopefully keep me from needing surgery.
