I have interviewed multiple times in the past. There was no update on selection process. Hiring manager simply said HR will contact you then ghosted me forever.
Only one hiring manager asked me for reference and immediately called my previous supervisor, after interview and I received TJO after 3 months. Also, he told me how the hiring timeline will look like.
No one else asked for references, is it a polite way of saying you are not selected?
