Maybe someone in here can help because I am having one hell of a time figuring out this whole archery thing 😅
I’ve been shooting Olympic recurve style for maybe 3 months now and have a pretty decent set up.
Hoyt gmx 3 riser
Wns b1 limbs
Shibuya dx plunger
Shibuya dual click sight
But I cannot for the life of me get my bow to tune. I started off shooting 27 inch black eagle intrepid 600 spine arrows. Tried bare shaft tuning and they were WAY stiff and I couldn’t lower the plunger enough to even get the tune close.
I then get 26 1/4 inch intrepids in a 700 spine (because I needed shorter arrows). Still too stiff.
I then go from 30 to 36 pound limbs. Still too stiff.
And the major pain is that my fletched arrows are all hitting to the right. I have my sight maxed out to try and correct it but I keep hitting consistent very tight groupings to the right.
I tried disregarding the bare shaft and turned my plunger up stiffer and even set my center shot further left and that got me to hit more center but then I must have started having clearing issues because my veins started to rip. And I have no idea how to fix the hitting right issue while also fixing the clearance issue and how to get this thing to tune
Tuning attempts were done around 20 meters
Edit: I am a right handed shooter
