Paula Andrea Placido is in the Borderlands movie as a bartender. Which seems like a huge waste as she would make a good Patricia Tannis. In the movie she has the correct haircut, build, and facial features.

I have nothing against Jamie Lee Curtis. I just think that Paula Andrea Placido (who was already in the movie so this isn't a fancast) would have made a better Dr. Tannis. I think the reason she wasn't was because Gearbox was more concerned about using Jamie Lee Curtis' name in order to sell more tickets.

I know the movie came out years ago and there probably won't be another one anytime soon but it bothered me enough that I wanted to share my opinion. If this is the wrong sub for this I can post this elsewhere if needed.
