I wanna touch grass and I wanna talk to people, and I think I've come to really like being downtown. I like the walking and I like the big like urbanscape or whatever that you don't get in the rest of the city bc it's sooo car centric. I've only been a few times (I'm kiiinda new here) so I'd love to have a buncha stuff to do, it doesn't even have to be with people, I like spending time by myself too, so. Bonus points if it's free (duh). The library and the museums is like all I know.

Ngl I'm a little surprised I haven't seen many people talk about it. I was there last year for the first time and I thought it was a lot of fun, they got some crazy guests too. I didn't go w anyone and I didn't rly wanna spend any money so I didn't do that much lmfao but it was fun being around in a much more familiar environment or whatever. I'd love to know what people think about it though, as new or regular attendees, or if you've stop attending, or you've visited from elsewhere, or if you've been to diff cons and how it compares to those. Idk I just wanna talk about it.

I'm going to a con this weekend and I kinda really need friends (😔). I don't have anxiety or anything but in my "overly polite and considerate-ness" I've come to think that I might bother or make someone uncomfortable by approaching them; I've recently decided to challenge that but I've realized that I don't actually know how to approach people??? I can do short fleeting chats but when I think about how I'd go about making real friends my brain just goes blank. I figured going somewhere where I know for sure people will share my interests would be an easy starting point but after that I rly don't fkin know. I'm basically just curious about how you guys might've made long-time friends through a con.
