So I just purchased a 99 Taco and the cab is in fairly rough shape, the previous owner did a ton of work to the frame/suspension etc. They also included a 97 cab that is in pristine condition. My plan eventually is to lift off the old 99 cab and plunk on the 97. Has anyone done this, or have links to any guides, I have never done something like this but I have time, strong back, access to a lift and the drive to do so! Any information would be immensely appreciated!

I have noticed just by looking that some of the holes in the firewall are ever so slightly different and I do know the grille/headlights are different.

6 cylinder, 5 speed (in case that matters)
