Hi everyone, need advice lang if may naka-experience na nito.

Nag-apply ako for PLDT internet, then may installer na pumunta sa area namin. Initially sinabi niya na wala raw available slots, so hindi pa kami makakabitan.

After a while, bumalik siya and said na baka makahanap siya ng slot, pero may condition — magbabayad daw ako ng ₱2,500 para makabitan, and sinabi pa niya na “wag ipaalam sa PLDT.”

Medyo sketchy siya for me kasi:

  • Walang official receipt
  • Hindi daw dadaan sa PLDT system
  • Direct payment sa installer

For context:

  • May account number na ako (approved application)
  • Waiting lang talaga for installation

Questions:

  • Normal ba ‘to sa PLDT installations?
  • May naka-experience na ba nito and legit ba siya?
  • Should I report this, or ganito talaga kalakaran minsan pag “walang slot”?

Ayoko rin kasi mag-risk na magbayad tapos wala naman mangyari 😅
