I was stressed over what i could pull together, so I rummaged the cabinets and threw together the last of the cans (beanless chili - red kidney beans - green beans - carrots), the bag of shells i had been saving, browned the ground beef and added the last of my stash of onions and garlic.
Of course I seasoned it with the entire cabinets assortment and threw in some fresh herbs from my garden (basil - oregano - thyme).
I'm pretty proud of it, its hearty and fairly healthy, and it should last us a few days.
