Hey all, someone gifted me a 100gallon fishtank that they weren’t using (dimensions 2ft tall x 4 ft long x 1 ft across). I built this stream terrarium, the plants in the water and the plants in the soil are live, everything else is fake. I’m replacing the fake stuff with real plants as I move along.
Currently I have 3 mystery snails and some clown isopods to clean the soil and water. There is a false bottom under the soil so all the water collects at the bottom of the tank. I built a filter system behind the log just using carbon filter sponge, screen, and the water pump.
I’m wondering what “centerpiece” little critters I can get for this type of environment? The snails seem to be doing fine, they’ve been in there about 2 months, and the isopod colony is building in numbers. Any help is greatly appreciated!
