Advice Needed with M340i Purchase
TLDR: Is it worth it to shop around for a Jahre Edition M340i or just go for CPO M340i.
Looking to return to BMW after owning a 2019 X3 M40i a couple of years ago (and loved it). I have always heard good things about the M340i. I test drove a '25 CPO M340i over the weekend and enjoyed it. When I started my search, I discovered the new Jahre Edition which I mistakenly thought was only applied to the M3/M4. So my question for those who own the m340i Jahre edition and/or have driven both, should I pay the higher price to get the Jahre in Avus blue (love the color but will need it shipped to NC) or go for a well-specced Tanzanite Blue II Metallic CPO?
I have seen the 2026 m340i for around $75-77k and a few CPO in the $50-60K range. I would be selling my 2019 Porsche Cayman (and one other car) to offset costs so the price difference is not a huge concern but I do prioritize value and do not want to waste $20K. I could go back to the m40i but like the look of the m340i better and not a fan of the new gen X3m50. Thanks.
