I can't beat this game. There, I said it. I've beaten Sekiro, I've beaten Shinobi PS2. I don't shy away from hard games.

I think I have something like 60-70 hours in this game and I've just sort of hit a wall. Haven't played in over a year but I recently dusted it off and have been getting the rust off.

I'm in Act 2. I can make it to Biome 5 most of the time if I'm really dialed in. I've reached Biome 6 maybe a few times back in the day but never to the final boss I don't think.

I need the hardest core Returnal-heads to lay out some tips for me to get me through Act 2.

I think I have a pretty firm grasp on the basics. What I need are some deeper tips focused on increasing my consistency, Things can go from "fine" to "absolute disaster" so quickly in this game. It's insane. How can I stop every run from ending in despair? How can I push my limits and raise my consistency so I am reaching Biomes 5 and 6 way more often.

Words of encouragement are also appreciated. It's got to be possible to break through this wall and put Act 2 to bed, right? Help!

EDIT: So many incredible responses, lots of great advice throughout. More than anything it has given me the will to continue. I'm in the middle of my best run yet. Huge HP bar and I randomly found an Adrenaline Leech. I'm in the middle of B5, had to save and take a break, I'm scared to continue because I don't know B6 all that well, wish me luck!

EDIT 2: HOLY SHIT! The run was a success. I took my time and tackled chunks of it throughout the day. Some really good advice in here that grounded me and helped sharpen up my approach, and more than anything all the encouragement here really fired me up. Credits have rolled. I'm gonna keep playing. What a game!!!
