I had a flight from Amritsar to Bangalore via Delhi on the Air India 787-8 Dreamliner. But due to what I assume is extreme low occupancy, the flight was cancelled and I was rescheduled to a flight about an hour earlier.

I was very pleasantly surprised when my boarding pass gave an error on scanning at the gate and the AI staff told me I'd been upgraded to Premium Economy and wrote down my new Seat number on my boarding pass.

I'm just an AI Red member, so this was genuinely surprising.

Service in PE was really fast. Started with a warm towel before take off and a full course meal on a 1 hr flight with metal cutlery 🤌🏻.
