My husband is a federal employee and in addition to contests and activities this week, he got 59 minutes earlier this week and 2 hours off early today. Where's the USPTO employee recognition??
Is the new timelines affecting your production or just me? If the whole goal is to be more productive this is actually hurting production levels. A 28 day deadline would be so much more manageable. 28 days used to be the average so if they made it the deadline it's still moving more cases.
I think in the long run we are better off skipping this $1k bonus to keep our work more manageable. If we all miss the bonus and keep the average at 28 days maybe they will adjust the timeliness goals? I honestly think this would be better for office production goals in the long run. Unless the goal is to sabotage the office...
