Hi all, I am a parent of a 2 yr old and 9 yr old. I often feel if I'm giving balanced meals with all macros to my kids. On one hand, I want to add eggs, chicken and fish daily to their meals. But the fear mongering videos about finding pesticides in eggs, formaldehyde in fishes, antibiotic resistance in chicken meat etc...are making me really confused to give them all of these daily.

Earlier, there were these discussions about milk not needed for kids, which was supported by my pead too. So I give my kids milk probably once or twice a week. But I really am worried if I'm actually helping their growth or delaying it due to these fears. I know it's genetics for a large extent, but I do want to help my kids reach their max fitness and height potential, I know nutrition can play a huge extent in that. Because as someone from a south Indian family, my staples were idli, dosa etc..with sambar, chutney, rice, some veggies and occasional non veg. Now in my 30s, I'm unlearning stuff and trying to include protein, fat, fiber with my meals, taking protein powder, vit supplements.

So please help me out with how to ensure I can provide balanced meals to my kids in all their meals, or suggestions for good meal ideas that can be implemented on daily basis and for school lunch boxes.

Thank you
