Looking for a pair of fishes

I have been looking for a pair fish boots for a little bit now. I prefer to buy exotic leather boots used over buying new. I also favor wide square toe the most. Here I was minding my own business just browsing and I found these, the person selling them will not go below 625. This seems high to me for a pair of Luccheses that arent classics, but I keep coming back to them. Am i being unreasonable for asking to be closer to 550?

Hello everyone,

I am not new to boots not even new to red wing. I’m just having a hard time figuring out the sizing on these. I typically wear a size 10 1/2D - 11 D for my Ariat ropers, 10 1/2D for my Tony Llama buckaroos, I have a pair of 11 insulated loggermaxs from red wing and I usually wear a size 10 1/2 to 11 in regular shoes depending on brand and shape. I cannot figure out these iron rangers I started with the 11’s and they were wayyy too big. And then went into a red wing store and tried on the 10 1/2 and they also felt too big but the sales manager said I was for sure a D in width but didn’t help me with sizing they also didn’t have the color I was looking for in store and would have to order them. So I purchased a 10D online and just got them. They feel closer to my “true size” there still seems to be a little bit more of a thumbs width between the end of the boot and my large toes but my toes on the outside seem to be right up against the boot and when I walk in them the top of the boot is touching and irritating the knuckle of my left 3rd toe.

So in conclusion does the 10D sound about right in size and I just need to put on thicker socks or mole skin until the boots form to my foot better or are these just not a good boot for my foot shape?
