Sending love this weekend
TW: Successful pregnancy, and loss
Just wanted to send out some love this weekend, knowing that many of you, like us, don’t have anyone in your lives who’ve dealt with this journey, the struggle, and the pain.
My wife and I are approaching 2 years of clinical help, with no success. Seeing everyone in our circle and adjacent celebrating and announcing. While we just sit and hope, and try, and field the empty sympathetic words of others.
I’ve lost touch with friends over the last 2 years because they don’t want to reach out to someone who’s negative. It’s easier to be friends with someone who’s happy and cheerful. My wife has cut out family as they can’t fathom the struggle and that it isn’t as easy for her as it was for them.
Just know we’re here, we see you, and we understand it’s okay to feel sad and angry as we pass through this weekend. Lots of love from us to you.
