Goldbox ahoy!

Goldbox ahoy!

Just took delivery for next month’s brews.

After seeing recommendations for these guys on here, I ordered some of their funkier stuff like Lemon Sherbet and Raspberry Jelly (stonkingly good). I’m just on with their Rwanda Musaza lot 3 which is fantastic and then need to finish their Burundi Matambu Hill (anaerobic natural sweet peach, citrus and brown sugar). All used for pour over so far

Thought I’d try some of their chocolatey ones to try with both pour over and espresso plus another fruity number.

I only started with pour over in December but have to say, I’m really enjoying trying different types of roasts (and roast processes) out. My Robot isn’t getting as much action as my Tsubame 185 or Switch though.

I’m very impressed though.

Swiss Army knife beans

Hi all - looking at recommendations for a multi purpose 1kg bag of beans.

My setup - Cafelat Robot for espresso, Tsubame for home pour over and I have a Switch at work. (Currently trying to resist buying a Fellow Aiden)

I tend to go chocolate/nut/caramel notes for espresso and still experimenting with pour over. Mainly used Coffee Works for espresso, The Bean Shop and Goldbox for pour over. (Only 5 months into pour over)

I’ll still be buying 200-250g bags of light roast for jazzier flavours. Just finished a bag of Goldbox Raspberry Jelly which was epic.

Appreciate your suggestions
