For context, I am an American who is permanently moving to Scotland in ~1 1/2 years. I am a UK citizen with a valid passport, so my question isn't about the legal requirements for landing roles/working in the UK, but rather how severely my American accent will impact my chances. In terms of roles, I am talking about really anything: I have already been in, and would like to continue theatre such as plays and musicals, and am extremely interested in being in TV/movies (both animated and live-action), and would also consider work in commercials, audiobooks/similar, and anything else. I do not want to be limited to one art form, or always be typecast as "The American."

Realistically, what is my situation like? Thanks so much for your help!
