Hey everyone, looking for some advice.
I recently got my application to NAIT’s Primary Care Paramedic program cancelled because my Biology 30 mark wasn’t high enough to meet the requirement. It’s frustrating because the rest of my application was solid — I even completed the MMI interview — but the grade just wasn’t there.
The good news is I’m planning to rewrite the Biology 30 diploma exam in June. My question is: should I go ahead and apply to the program now and let admissions know I’m rewriting, or should I wait until I have my new grade in hand before applying?
I’ve heard arguments both ways — applying now keeps you in the queue and shows initiative, but waiting means you’re submitting a complete application from the start. Has anyone been through something similar, either at NAIT or another program with competitive entrance requirements?
Appreciate any advice!
