I am prepping to hike Pikes Peak, Co. I know it’s not the most rugged hike but I’ve been in a weird spot as far as footwear.

Background: My hiking footwear experience comes from buying Merrell for the name when I was young. Then 5 years in the Army buying Solomon’s for the name. Then finding out I have collapsed arches and overpronation. I wear Brooks Beast GTS shoes anytime I can. They help my back and feet.

I guess really I’m hoping to see if there is a hiking version of Brooks beasts. Something for over pronation, wider than usual toe box, and hella foam.

Thank you all!
