Best options for retirement planning and a pension
Just looking for a little advice on what would be best long term and what would be best.
I've just opened the new Trading 212 SIPP in the app and am wondering what would be the best option going forward, I recently opened a S&S ISA in January and currently have around £6500 invested in a all world etf, a Asia market etf and Rolls Royce stock which I have been adding to gradually. I have around 50k in an ordinary ISA which has been my main savings/pension funds as I have never bothered with private pensions and figured a state pension would be enough.
After being quite stupid for a number of years and not thinking for my future I'm trying to get some balance and get things sorted for retirement life. I guess I'm just wondering is it better to ditch the S&S ISA and concentrate on adding my monthly savings into the SIPP investing in a single ETF like VWRP and keeping the standard ISA which is obviously a safe option as it can't lose like ETF's Obviously what I save in the SIPP I will not be able to access until my retirement age. I'm 46 M and a basic rate tax payer
I'm not on great wages so I'm really trying to maximise my savings long term and figure out my best option going forward. Thanks for any advice 🙏
