Hi all, apologies if this isn’t the right place to post - please remove if not. Il try to explain as best as possible.
I’m Uk based,
my salary is £5205 Gross Per month.
My employer has the minimum auto enrolment work place pension set up - where also contribute the minimum ( as they don’t allow salary sacrifice or matched )
This pays me a Net figure of £3754.17 per month.
So the issue i have is trying to work out if I’ve been paid correctly this month. I recently took part of my annual holiday which was agreed for 10days - however due to the war, my return flights were cancelled and changed - delaying my return by 3 days. I let my employer know this whilst on holiday.
Consequently They have deducted £754.00 from my salary this month without any explanation or even letting me know so. I have tried using various calculators to figure it out and I can’t work out how they’ve come to this figure. My understanding is that Things always seem to get heated and I get shut down for raising queries with my salary in the past, so before I ask how this figure has been calculated I’d like to understand if this is correct and how it’s calculated ?
Thank you.
