Didn’t get the job. How can I do better next time?
So here’s the story:
I’ve been trying to get a special education teaching position job at my local high school district where my wife teaches. I have been commuting for a long while so I’m pretty eager to get something closer to home.
Sadly, I did interview but didn’t get the job.
I later learned that a candidate with lots of connections (his dad is the HS football coach) and his college experience (he’s a former D1 football player) got the job.
What advice can you guys give me for next time? What can I do that will set me apart from the rest of the pack?
Thanks 🙏
