Help with tips and tricks soldering!

Hey guys! So I started soldering in early april and recently got to participate in my professors nsf research stuff, with that money I got a hakko fx-888dx. I started soldering with with small through hole kits and went onto heavy SMT boards. Is there any tips or tricks I could use? I know i can search up some but I understand sometimes the internet doesn't always have the sbest tips. I barely started technically and would love to learn some tips on how to keep my iron maintained! and how to further my soldering! I soldered 2 gikfun SMT practice kts recently, windering if there are any harder ones as well. Roasts are welcomed becuse I'm a beginer XD. Thank you guys!

So I’ve had this car for awhile and I do a bunch of stuff regarding getting stuff from higher trim models to a lower trim model. I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze and wanted to do a seat swap from an LTZ to my LS. I figured it was just a quick swap out and such. But I forget these have sensors and stuff. Any tips on how to make the seat swap pretty efficient? Or would I need dealer scanners or tear the things open just to get a good swap
