Advice for switching to primarily construction staking

Hey all,

I’ve been surveying about 7 years and recently started at a firm that does a lot of large scale commercial development.

My background is primarily in ROW mapping and large-scale DOT projects, including construction but more in couple month stints here and there vs being the site resident.

I’m no stranger to staking by any means but am having to learn a lot of nuances as I’m pretty rusty and my staking experience is all working off of station and offset from calc’d alignments.

Absolutely loving learning every day, this company trusts their guys and gives us liberty to do wizardry in the field.
