green card holder that is outside of the US for almost a year
Hi everyone, right now I’m really scared for my mom. Before she left the U.S., we filed Form I-131, and they took her biometrics last August. But now it has been almost a year, and we haven’t heard anything back from the embassy. She is still outside the U.S. Can she return to the U.S right now safely? meaning it hasn’t been a year since she left, I know normally you have to return back after 6 months outside of state, but because how ICE were in MN and i got scared so i told her not to come. She has no criminal record or anything.
