Please Help! In need of any/all advice!
Let me start by letting you know it's a 2002 Chevrolet S10 LS with a 4.3L Vortec motor. Current owner for roughly a week.
Current Issue: When Turning key to "Power" setting everything is fine, but when you turn key over to engage the starter, everything dies immediately. When releasing the key back to "Power" position, all power returns to the vehicle.
Recent Work Done To Vehicle: I've only replaced the Upper Intake Manifold Gaskets and the Fuel Pressure Regulator that's inside the intake manifold.
Vehicle turned over (poorly) before replacing Gaskets and Fuel Regulator. Disconnected battery before replacing and upon reconnection, It won't start. I've had the battery tested and come back fine. I've replaced the Starter and got new Terminal Bolts to ensure I have good connection. Previous owner warned of similar power issue, but I hadn't ran into this problem yet. Any clues or suggestions? Any and all ideas are appreciated!
