Took your advice. Built my first AR9.
Posted last week asking for some suggestions, loved the suggestions and bought some components, and they all arrived ridiculously fast. Haven’t shot it yet, but I’m taking it to the range this weekend to break it in. Absolutely love how it came together.
RTB 4.5” barreled upper w/ flash can
Brigade AR-9 lower
SBA5 brace
Vortex SPARC optic
Streamlight Protac (it’s hiding behind the hand guard)
The flashlight wouldn’t fit on the MLOK rail properly because the flash can is thicc, so it’s holding on with one screw, a zip tie, and a dream. I plan on SBRing it and throwing a nice stock on there, then suppressing it and swapping for a longer handguard to encapsulate most of the suppressor. Also gives me room for a foregrip that way.
