Am getting incredibly mixed views from different sources, so would appreciate any response.
I was originally admitted and committed to CMU Tepper (school of business) for undergrad co2030 with the plans to add an additional major in Stat ML in hopes of pursuing a career in quant. However, I was recently admitted off the Vanderbilt waitlist, and have the option to do both Math and CS (without having to apply to/transfer to additional majors). Which do you think would be stronger? Obviously CMU wins for placement overall, but is that mostly due to SCS? Would Tepper + Stat ML realistically be competitive, or more competitive than Vandy Math + CS?
