Ideas for controlling my autistic brother’s spending

Problem: Need to keep the ole Apple account “working” which requires attaching payment method. And he will spend money in apps (or on Amazon, another story), sometimes a lot of money!

I’ve been trying to think of a means to allot an amount of money that he can’t go beyond. But he’s not going to be able to choose to stop buying, so the means needs to stop him, without repercussions. I keep coming back to how, if you try to buy something on an account, but there aren’t sufficient funds to do so, your attempt doesn’t just go away. It may fail at first, but then the next time a viable payment method is attached to the account, the charge will still go through.

Is there something I’m not thinking of?

A good soak to help irritated toes / nail beds ?

My dog has a foot-licking problem. I am looking for examples of foot soaks people have found effective, to help soothe them. I’ve been doing water with epsom salt, applying douxo SEB, moisturizing with coconut oil…. Our vet is treating him. He feels like it’s a contact allergy. We’ve done apoquel and cytopoint, together and separately. He has a neurological disability, so haven’t been able to rule out if it’s nerve sensations making him lick. We continue to work on it. But, in the meantime, any tried and true soothing treatment examples would be awesome.

I have a 13yo rat terrier/chihuahua. Since early 2025 he’s had several occurrences of blood around his poop and straight blood from his anus, but always accompanied by pooping or trying to poop. The bleeding never continues. A few weeks ago we went through a bout of diarrhea, which got bloody after he went a couple of times, and stayed bloody throughout. It cleared up after a few days of Proviable and then he got back to normal. The vet did a stool sample check, and he had no parasites.

Tonight his poop was just covered in blood. He’s been eating good and acting basically normal.

Has anyone had a similar experience and can tell me if it turned out to be some other thing ? I will talk to his vet tomorrow. I am just vwondering if anyone here has experienced something similar. TIA
