Doing my husband's geniology. He came up with Slovakia, Western Ukraine, and Czechia in his DNA profile. This ancestor and a few surrounding them claim they are from Hungary. I have a baptismal record for her in a Slovakian church synagogue book from 1881 in Slanské Nové Mesto, Košice, Slovakia. I see others here claiming Slovenian as their race but her race category is a different word and I can't quite make out what it is. Clearly a word or term I am unfamiliar with. Any guesses?
