Going for my PPL
I need everyone to break it down. Give me everything you’ve got! I know it won’t be cheap, but I’ve heard clubs, older Cessna’s, or schools make a difference in price? Should I get my medical and ground school out of the way while I save? What are the cons (besides crashing a plane and expenses) and the pros? Please tell me everything you wish you had known before getting your PPL. Appreciate it!
Edit/addition: I have not done my intro flight. This all actually came about because my boyfriend has always been a big fan of aviation and wanted to fly so I bought him an intro flight for his birthday. I went with him and enjoyed the experience way more than anticipated. We will both most likely get our PPL.
