I was playing a round of .20/.50/1 and my remaining chip balance is just steadily decreasing when im playing, why is this happening?

I booked a ride with Hitch and noticed something weird, they refunded my original payment, then later charged me a higher amount. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is it like a temporary hold vs final charge thing, or did the price actually change after booking? Just trying to understand what’s going on before I contact support.
