I went to an interview, it was going well. towards the end, I was told that I would hear back from them If I got the job and If I don’t then, I didn’t get the job, the interviewer then said, “I don’t see why we wouldn’t hire you, so i’m sure you’ll hear back soon.”

Is this a good sign, it’s officially been a week and I haven’t heard back. I heard from HR last thursday that they began checking my references, but nothing else after that.

Any advice can help.
