So here am updating tier list everyday u may be thinking i am doing this to move wailtlist of xyz college but its not the case. The least i expect from a business school is transparency but everywhere their is inflated reports and talks that this college is better than that but the reality will hit hard when u leave one great college for other so considered better college.
Am iterating this list so that every person who will be spending their next 2 yr and 25smtng lakhs of their hard earned money to only know that the advertised packages differ very much from original
And last thing these coaching will do everything and anything in their power to get one more students so please dont fall in their trap.

IIM Shillong - 18-20
Here is scenario for you - for the PGP 2024–26 batch, it had around 390 students, however its still going to report an average CTC of about ₹26 lacs mostly coz of ppos and a few international placements.
A more realistic overall average is closer to ₹18-20 lacs ctc.
This year around around roughly 60–70 students only got PPOs, and placements frpm PPOs are generally above 23 lacs.
For the remaining 300 students had to sit in final placements, the average salary is around ₹16–18 LPA ctc, hence the mismatch in expectations.
Also, with a total MBA cost of about ₹30 lakh (including living expenses), ROI is very doubtful.
One more thing about placement numbers-
By mid to late December, around 180 students were still unplaced in a batch of 380 , and roles offering ₹12–13 lacs started to come and became quite frequent.
Some were even as low as 11-12 lacs like Capgemini Chrysalis and Dezerv. But most roles were still in 15-16 lacs range.
Also by early February, about 80 students were still unplaced and by convocation around 50 were still left. So, go with realistic
Iim k and here the average is around 22-25lpa if you take out the ppo's which are generally on the higher side.
