Hey everyone! I have been lurking for a while, but I feel like I am going insane so I need to make a post.
I had my nostril pierced more than a year ago, and I've been having a bump for a couple of months now. It does shrink and almost goes away, but then something happens and restarts the process. T_T It's a titanium labret, it has been downsized, but since the bump started happening, I've had it changed back to a longer one a month ago, because I felt like the downsized piercing was pushing on the piercing bump.
I accidentally scratched my nose piercing which is what I suspect started this particular flare up 2 weeks ago.
Last week I tried hot compress, and oxycort (I got it prescribed for my lobe piercing which also had a nasty bump and has healed beautifully ever since after using oxycort). Currently I am trying the LITHA method and I only rinse it in the shower then blowdry it afterwards. I have OCD, so not getting fixated on it is extremely hard. 😞 Should I keep doing this and be patient or is there anything more I could do?
