Heating and Lighting/Enclosure Set Up
Iggi will be coming home in 2ish weeks and I’m excited. I’m pretty confident when it comes to everything else but living in a basement has me a tad concerned when it comes to heating and overall just keeping her comfy and happy. As of right now I’ve got a heating mat for her that’s recommended for the size of tank I got for her and a halogen bulb for a clamp lamp for overall lighting, not heat. My aunt who has several snakes reccomended a UVB/UVA strip light that simulates sunlight. Im wondering if I should get that and return the clamp lamp and bulbs? And if I should replace the belly heat with a CHE?
So basically 2 questions:
Is my current way of setting up heat and lighting in her enclosure ok? Or should I switch it up before she gets here?
