i find it a little funny that a good chunk of the player base believes that rising pets to high val in the span of weeks is "extreme value manipulation" compared to dropping it by 50-100 in the span of literal hours...yes, i might sound bias but i have a nfr balloon uni, never really planned on trading it, but seeing it go from 536 to 440 in the span of 5 HOURS yesterday was absolute insanity. no one is complaining bc its a balloon uni...but if it were a haetae or any other non-preppy, non-cutecore pet, there would be an uproar. look at what happened to low-tier megas, truly sad that they dropped, but it wasn't by 110%, and everyone was crapping their pants. balloon didn't even drop in demand; i was still looking at 20-70 ops before it dropped randomly, and ppl are saying "good", "deserved!"...can we be a little serious... please? 😭
