So I've been looking into the Firewalla (Gold SE) for quite some time, and am constantly stuck between pulling the trigger, and a lack of trust.
My hesitancy is that it seems like I am essentially giving a third party (besides my ISP) full access to my network, and all communications to be logged in some way or another on their servers.
Is there any way to setup one of these devices such that zero information ever leaves the device besides to an intended location (i.e. connection to netflix when using netflix). Essentially I like the idea of blocking trackers, but also feel like im just adding one big tracker with more access than any other tracker has ever had.
Reading the privacy policy,, I found this line which leads me to believe my network logs are transferred to the firewalla servers.
