Hey guys, i remember a league or two ago in one of the release videos they talked about how they were buffing Acokyte of Chayula and I remember it got some crazy blackhole skill? Ive been looking up Chayula builds and none of them really strike me as playing into the fantasy that much.

Im looking for a build that uses chaos skills(purple skills). And is okay in endgame. Hell, I'd be fine with the purple flame buuld on Chonk as well.

Im looking to maybe league start as Chonk for 0.5 because of the new hidden ascendancy. Kind of want to practice.

So, im sort of new to endgame stuff in ARPG's. Ive been playing PoE2 since 0.1, and have minimal experience with other ARPG's mostly in terms of endgame.

Im not asking about specific leaguestarters, but about leagustarters themselves. Since 0.1, at the start of each league ive either picked a class in havent played yet and get it to endgame, or ive just picked the new class that they released.

At this point, ive played at least one build for most of the classes, not including Ranger and Mercenary. Ive been enjoying taking my time getting through the campaign and reading the story, but ive decided I want to possibly try doing what most people do and picking a leaguestarter and blasting through the campaign so I can start grinding endgame and getting drops for better builds.

My main question is; what are the pro's of people doing this rather then starting with a build they think is fun? I understand there are specific builds that need an expensive weapon. But are there other reasons why people pick a league starter?

Im thinking im going to either start as an Ed/c witch or a plant druid.
