Chopping and rewiring multiple segments into one controller?
Hey folks,
So, I'm remodeling a room into my game dungeon. Part of it involves this potential monstrosity. In the pic, I laid down tape lines IRL then filled in the color with photoshop; the other walls will be painted and the spacing/placement aren't at all finalized. This was just to mock up and help me visualize.
My plan is to run LED track with diffusers along the tape lines. I want to do all of the wiring hidden within the wall itself, ideally to one controller. I did a rough measure of all the lines and came out to around 74ft of LED tape needed.
Does anyone have experience with chopping multiple segments and wiring them all back into one Govee controller? I know that one controller can handle the power and data throughput I'll need for the overall total length, given that 100ft kits are sold, I'm just wondering if anyone else has played around with a similar concept and can give me any insights before I attempt this.
Thanks homies!
