TLDR: Apple Music/Spotify won't work, should I bother with Tidal if I have connection issues?
Hi Guys! I just bought a FLX4 a few weeks ago. Started messing around with only Apple Music, Spotify wouldn't connect. Was having tons of fun getting to know everything. Got comfortable with my purchase, threw away my box since I'm short on space, and immediately after trash day Apple Music stopped connecting lol.
Looked up a bunch of info, deleted all the cache files, countless reinstalls, tried rolling back to other versions, no luck. My internet didn't change but for what its worth I am on Starlink. Serato Lite works fine, but I was immediately vibing with Rekordbox out the gate.
I do not mind buying a paid Rekordbox plan, and/or subscribing to Tidal. Especially for Stems. My question is, will all my connection problems be solved? Or will I just have the same issues but now with Tidal? I just don't want to commit further if this connection issue will follow me around regardless of my services.
While I'm at it, do I even need a paid Rekordbox plan if all I want to do is have some fun?
Thanks!
UPDATE: I made a free Tidal account to check connection and it immediately logged in. I am going to start a free trial and see if it continues to work. Tried Apple Music still getting "Unable to connect" and Spotify log in crashes to desktop.
