My recent sup. Claim was denied for PTSD, anxiety and depression. The reason was, the Va could not corroborate the stressor that took place in service. I submitted two buddy statements, one being the Platoon Leader (O2) and another was the gunner from the humvee where the incident took place. Additionally, I provided photos and a timeline of the event. As many of you know and dealt with these issues, the incident was never documented because the command team made a bad decision and covered up the incident. My question to you all is, how else can I verify the event? Again, 2 buddy statements, photos and a personal statement were submitted.
