Just venting here. I've been thinking lately that it would be less painful to simply not experience life than living in a capitalist system. I have no nationalist or religious aspirations, and I cannot find my own identity because, as a materialist, identity is a myth. Moreover, it is clear that a Revolution will not happen during this century. The working class is blinded by racist and nationalist ideologies spread by the bourgeoisie and the far right is seizing power all over the world. Finally, our environment is only degrading and capitalism is a never ending machine which feeds itself on the corpse of the weak and is draining nature's resources. Is there any reason at all to keep fighting ? Or is it only a performative act which only blind us ?
