Roman glass animal pendant

Hello, I’m looking for an opinion on this small glass object. It’s a blue-green/aqua glass pendant in the shape of a crouching animal.

I’ve noticed some surface pitting and what appears to be slight silverish iridescence in certain areas. However, I’m aware that many modern reproductions of Roman glass are circulating. Based on the style, the shape of the suspension hole, and the overall patina, do you think this is a genuine ancient piece or a more contemporary 'in the style of' souvenir? Thanks in advance for your help!
