What do I do now?

What do I do now?

I've posted in here like 20 times today so sorry about that.

I am finding myself increasingly frustrated with this game after having a lot of fun initially. I am at tier 6 in the hub and trying to work on stage 3 of the space elevator.

I need to start building computers and stuff but it's so awkward to do that. The plastic I need is on the other side of the map to where I can make everything else. I tried using trains but they are an absolute nightmare for me because of all the hills everywhere and I feel sick when the tracks clip through the ground.

How do people even proceed from here?

Do people make small factories to build reinforced plates, modular frames etc.... then train them in to distribute to other factories that make higher tier items? Do you make a central distribution area, to send all of the basics resources to?

-The pic is of a factory I built to make modular frames and smart plates, it's nothing compared to the stuff posted here, I know. I spent hours designing that in my notebook, getting the splitter and merger configurations just right. Now it disgusts me. Should I start again, or delete everything in my world? I'm getting close to just giving up.

Help with pipes

Hi guys,

I just unlocked oil products and fuel generators but I'm having trouble with my pipes.

In the pic attached my oil is disappearing somewhere.

Green pipe = 240 oil

Blue pipe = 120 oil

Red pipe = 59 oil?

This is causing my fuel generators to keep turning off and on which is not ideal. I tried to get this to produce the correct amount of rubber, plastic and fuel with no waste but this issue with the pipes is not something I expected.

I've tried to remedy this with pumps but nothing seems to work... It always just splits 120 into 59x2. I've been treating pipe junctions like splitters but I guess that isn't correct?

Taking advantage of abnormally long days

I first remember experiencing trouble sleeping when I was 8 years old. It got significantly worse when I was around 15. Now I am 27 and on most nights I sleep for about 3 hours, if at all. I have tried experimenting with only sleeping every other night recently and I do find it easier to fall asleep this way because of the exhaustion, but I am very clumsy after being awake for so long.

I don't really talk about this with people because they'll just advise you to try reading before bed or something along those lines. I know my father also has trouble sleeping, so maybe this is something I have inherited. I don't think it will ever really improve for me.

I am now thinking of making the most of my time awake by writing throughout the night, I could do a huge amount given how much time I have. Has anyone else tried to capitalise on their insomnia in this way?
