Worse pH and Lactate you’ve seen?
Coming from my last night shift (Paeds SHO) where a one month old baby came in in SVT. pH <6.8 (machine could only read up to there) and lactate >20 (again machine could only read that high) with unrecordable bicarb. (After 3 hours of resus they were transferred out intubated with a pH of 7.25 and a lactate of 5!)
What’s the most fucked up gas you’ve seen that’s survived?
